Abstract: "I've Accidentally Tattooed My Fingers!" And Other Anecdotes" is a brief exploration of the lives of those around me. I'll be photographing those in the LGBTQ+ community who I hold dear to me, as well as myself. The idea behind this is to better humanize those that have been, historically, demonized and oppressed for who it is that they are, and to explore healthy intrapersonal and interpersonal relationships. These explorative photographs will be documentary and narrative in nature, and will reference different queer artists throughout history and contemporarily. Some of these artists include Robert Mapplethorpe, David Lebe, and John Edmonds, amongst others.
