Abstract: Description of Activity The purpose of this research project is to map and study the unique biodiversity of Lake Allure, a man-made lake in Lancaster County. I will assess whether this type of habitat could act as a SCUBA diving training facility. The first part of the study is to produce a detailed map of the area using GIS. Once a detailed map of the area is properly georeferenced, we plan to further divide the study area into grids that will facilitate mapping the flora and fauna into different bio-provinces.
