Post-Baccalaureate Teacher Certification Programs and Admissions Information

Post-Baccalaureate Teacher Certification Programs

Millersville’s post-baccalaureate certification programs are designed for students who already have a bachelor's degree and would like to be certified to teach in Pennsylvania.  These programs fill the gaps between your previous degree work and state requirements for teacher certification.

If your undergraduate degree was awarded in a similar discipline subject area, you may be considered for a fast-track program!

Students may work on a master’s degree and certification at the same time for *certain master’s programs.  Students will need to apply to both the master’s and the post-baccalaureate certification program to pursue this option.  Any courses required for both programs will count towards both degrees.
