Instructions for Obtaining Current Employee Renewal Clearances
Employees of Millersville University are required to renew their background clearances every 60 months.
A member of the Office of Human Resources will forward two documents to you for your review and digital signature. These documents are the Background Clearance Consent Form and the Acknowledgement of the Requirement to Report Within 72 Hours.
Upon receipt of the signed consent, our Office will initiate the PA State Criminal Record Check. Results will be available for our review on the Pennsylvania Access to Criminal History (PATCH) portal. No further action is required of the employee for this clearance unless otherwise contacted by our office.
For detailed instructions to complete the remaining two clearances, Child Abuse History Check and FBI Fingerprint check, view step-by-step instructions for obtaining these renewal clearances.
