Located in the Lombardo College of Business, the General Business program will equip students with the essential elements of Accounting, Finance, International Business, Management and Marketing to pursue employment in any business or organization, or to continue their professional studies.

The General Business program at Millersville University includes two departments: Accounting and Finance, and Management and Marketing. Our committed and diverse group of business faculty members have extensive real-world business experience and academic training that add value and vibrancy to your courses and education. 

Millersville University’s business program is internationally accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). You will graduate with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Business Administration.

What Will You Learn?

The General Business curriculum is designed to prepare you for employment in any business or for-profit, nonprofit or public-sector organization. Core courses will introduce you to the business field, including research methods, legal environments, strategy and the five concentration areas. With that foundation, your concentration will provide you with specific knowledge about Accounting, Finance, International Business, Management or Marketing.

The curriculum also provides excellent preparation for graduate and professional studies leading to degrees such as the M.B.A., M.S., Ph.D. and the J.D.
