Following his wife’s death, a devoted father is left to pick up the pieces of his life, while struggling to take his son Mason, who has Down syndrome, to his first baseball game. Color Book is a powerful exploration of grief and healing through the beautifully honest depiction of a father and son relationship defined not by a need to overcome ignorance or learn acceptance for disability, but through genuine compassion and unconditional support in times where love and connection are needed the most.

One day, an encounter with an eccentric American tourist leads them on a trip through the lively city streets where they confront their personal traumas. Intimate and life affirming, A Second Life provides a look into the unexpected beauty of savoring every moment we have on the paths we take through life.
