Receptions ι  This exhibition offers two receptions, one in-person and one via Zoom.  Due to Covid-19, for live gatherings we are required to limit the capacity Swift Gallery to 18 occupants at a time.  Because of this, the night of the reception, we ask that you pre-register for a time slot to view the exhibition and meet the artist.  Please remember to be courteous and wear your mask properly, covering both you nose and mouth, at all times, after entering the building.  You can sign-up using the link to the registration web form below.  Thank you for your cooperation.

Gallery Hours ι  Standard business hours for Swift Gallery are Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. Hours are subject to vary in accordance with University established holidays (below) and the reception, gallery talk/s or awards ceremony.  

About the Exhibition ...

“Despite Everything” is a collection of drawings and prints made in 2019-2021. The work explores ideas of comfort, memory and feeling through cute, whimsical, and relatable characters and scenes.

About the Artist ...

Victoria Duggan is a Philadelphia born artist currently pursuing her BFA with a focus on printmaking and drawing. Her work is greatly influenced by the spaces and people she spends time with. She treats her art as a way to make sense of her own thoughts and feelings with the hopes that others can find a sense of comfort or their own story within them. Her work has been featured in group exhibitions at The Demuth Museum, Lancaster, PA, Second State Press, Philadelphia, PA, and in multiple exhibitions at Millersville University, Millersville, PA.
