About the Exhibition ...

Williamson’s work in ‘IO’ is a synthesis of recognizable cinematic and literary themes in science fiction, creating a subjective narrative that provokes differing visual and psychological interpretations depending on the viewer. His practice of worldbuilding involves contrasting familiar genre icons against conceptual, spiritual, and metaphysical perspectives.

Please note: Due to limited font flexibility, the artist wants to clarify that the title of this exhibition is IO, not 10 (ten) as it appears at various locations in this article.

About the Artist ...

Ben Williamson is a local printmaker, painter, and digital artist pursuing a BFA. While studying at Millersville, Williamson began experimenting with the intersection of mechanical process and traditional printmaking disciplines. He has incorporated laser-engraving, 3D-printing, and digitally sourced content to laborious, hand-based techniques.
