MU's Second Year Experience (MUSYE)

University College and Student Affairs

Millersville University’s Second Year Experience (MUSYE) Program supports second-year students by providing opportunities to enhance academic and professional success, campus belongingness, engagement, overall wellness, and community experiences.

During the second year of college, students begin to take on added responsibilities and make decisions that will affect the rest of their lives. Second-year students are poised to take on new opportunities, including study abroad, civic and community engagement, volunteering, and organizational involvement, but may continue to struggle with major declaration, career indecision, social acclimation, and class connection.

MUSYE can provide opportunities for second-year students to engage around these choices and decisions through targeted transitional events, activities, and programs and serve as a roadmap for students to make the most of their journey to graduation and degree completion.
