Dr. Pruznak obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Biopsychology from Juniata College.  Both her Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology and Doctorate in School Psychology were earned from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP).  She maintains her state and national certifications in school psychology, in addition to a Diplomate in School Neuropsychology.  She also possesses an Administrative Principal PK-12 certification from the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE).

Dr. Pruznak has worked in various roles with children, youth, families, and professionals in related fields.  Her longest role was working as a Certified School Psychologist.  Most recently, she has gained experience working as a special education administrator.  Dr. Pruznak has also been employed in the past as a Therapeutic Staff Support (TSS), a full-time nanny, a Behavior Specialist Consultant (BSC)/Mobile Therapist (MT), and Disability Support Services Advisor.

Prior to joining the Psychology Department at Millersville, Dr. Pruznak has taught both undergraduate and graduate courses at IUP and Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU).  General course topics ranged from behavior, learning, development, and assessment.

When Dr. Pruznak is not working, she enjoys nature walks, reading fantasy, and traveling the world.
