ABOUT DR. AFZALI
Dr. Farhad Afzali is an Assistant Professor of Information Technology in the Lombardo College of Business at Millersville University. He received his Bachelor of Computer Science degree from Kardan University, Master of Science degree in Management Information Systems, and Ph.D. degree in Information Technology from the University of Nebraska Omaha (UNO). Dr. Afzali served as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Information Systems and Quantitative Analysis at the College of Information Science and Technology at UNO from 2023 - 2025 and as an adjunct instructor between 2020 and 2023. In 2007, he worked with the International Rescue Committee as a Database Officer. In 2008, he joined the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA). He worked for UNAMA for six years as an Application Developer and Database Administrator.
