Vilas A. Prabhu Center for Academic Excellence Sessions
Fall 2023 Sessions
The CAE offers a semester full of professional development sessions, drop-in hours, Faculty Learning Communities, and Advisory Board meetings. See the calendar below for details. Sessions are added regularly, please check the calendar often. Additionally, sessions are shared via the weekly CAE email.
CAE Scholar Program
The CAE Scholar Program will provide a certificate of completion for active engagement in sessions during the academic year. The CAE believes that educational development at every stage of a faculty career can strengthen professional practice (teaching and scholarship). In support of this, the CAE offers the CAE Scholar Program. Faculty who attend 4 sessions during the Fall or Spring semester will earn a "CAE Scholar Program Completion Fall" and/or "CAE Scholar Program Completion Spring" certificate in support of their focused attention on professional development.
Faculty choosing to attend and participate in 4 sessions during the Fall semester will receive a CAE Scholar Fall 2023 certificate. Faculty choosing to attend and participate in 4 sessions during the Spring semester will receive a CAE Scholar Spring 2024 certificate.
