Arriving at Millersville - International Student Orientation

PREPARING FOR YOUR MILLERSVILLE UNIVERSITY EXPERIENCE

The Office of International Programs and Services supports new international students and scholars through a variety of events built into the required International Student Orientation (ISO), which is typically held the week before classes start. ISO includes educational workshops, meetings with representatives of the campus community, tours, and fun trips to get to know the Lancaster County area. We can’t wait to welcome you on campus!

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • If your major requires a math placement test, please follow the instructions provided here to take it before arriving on campus.
  • Completing the Marauder Arrival Program, and attending ISO is required for all international students new to Millersville University.
  • Attending ELI Orientation is mandatory for all new ELI students.
  • Please plan your travel dates accordingly.

VOYAGE TO THE 'VILLE (V2V) & MARAUDER ARIVAL PROGRAM (MAP)

Voyage to the 'Ville is a series of pre-arrival sessions specific to international students admited to Millersville University. Attendance of these sessions will ensure you are fully on track to start of your term well by the time of International Student Orientation. These sessions are held live each term and a great way for incoming students to access the help they need. Use the portal below to register for upcoming events & access previous events' recordings. 

Voyage to the 'Ville Portal

The Marauder Arrival Program (MAP) is a brief online orientation designed for all incoming admitted students. It introduces you to resources and important information to help prepare for beginning well on campus. MAP has resources such as videos, connections to offices and services on campus, and a self-guided overview for you as a student. It is not required, but recommended.

Fall 2024 – International Student Orientation and Welcome Week! 

Students arriving for Fall 2024 semester should plan to be present on campus for these important dates: 

  • Tuesday/Wednesday, August 20 or 21, Arrive by / Move-In for On-Campus Students 
  • Thursday, August 22 – ISO Day 1 / ELI Orientation Sessions   
  • Friday, August 23– ISO Day 2 / ELI Orientation Sessions/Optional Shopping Trip
  • Sunday, August 25 – ISO Day 4 – Free Day/University-wide planned events  
  • Monday, August 26 – Classes Begin. 
  • Save the Date: TBD – BBQ Dinner with the University President, Dr. Daniel Wubah. RSVP will be required. 

Spring 2025 - International Student Orientation and Welcome Week! 

Students arriving for the Spring 2025 semester should plan to be present on campus for these important dates: 

  • Tuesday/Wednesday, January 14 or 15, Arrive by / Move-In for On-Campus Students 
  • Thursday, January 16 – ISO Day 1 / ELI Orientation Sessions   
  • Friday, January 17– ISO Day 2 / ELI Orientation Sessions   
  • Saturday, January 18 – ISO Day 3 – OPTIONAL Cultural Events  
  • Sunday, January 19 – ISO Day 4 – OPTIONAL Friendship Building Events  
  • Monday, January 20 – Holiday (No Classes)
  • Tuesday, January 21 – Classes Begin
