IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR F/J Students at MU: 

On July 17, 2026, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) published a final rule to end 'duration of status' (D/S) for F and J visa holders. This rule will go into effect on September 15, 2026 and will impact students in F or J status and alumni with OPT or STEM OPT authorization. The Warfel Center for International Programs and Services (IPS) is reviewing the final rule and will communicate the changes and implications to the Millersville community after August 3, 2026, via the IPS webpage and emails to affected individuals.
