Summer Institutes

Millersville University welcomes international students to join us for our Summer Institutes. Study on our campus, which is in a safe setting located in historic Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The University is located in Millersville, Pennsylvania within a few hours of major U.S. cities such as Philadelphia, Washington D.C., and New York City. Students will visit local organizations and businesses, and make weekend visits to local and regional landmarks.

ACADEMIC Summer Institute

OSEH 120: Safety, Health, and Environmental Issues (3 credits)
Occupational Safety and Environmental Health 120: Introduction to safety, health, and environmental issues that impact people and workplaces. Includes the historical development of safety, the impact of accidents on society, a legislative overview and basic principles of personal risk assessment and management.

ERCH 190: Introduction to Integrative STEM Pedagogy (3 credits)
Early Childhood 190: Serves as an introduction to Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM) education methods. Students will learn basic information regarding integrative STEM education and examine various curricular models.
