Parking Regulations are in effect at Millersville University around the clock all year. Please review campus parking regulations and Pennsylvania state parking regulations. It is your responsibility to do so.
VISITORS to Millersville campus
Visitors can now apply online for a visitor pass and have it emailed directly to you. You can print out this day visitor permit and have it available before you arrive on campus. You must create an account in our parking system first before applying. This request is for a VISITOR day pass and is not intended for extended use or for enrolled students. Parking ticket information:
Paying or appealing a Millersville university parking ticket:
Millersville university will be moving to a new system for parking ticket processing, appeals and payments. If you received a parking ticket PRIOR to 10/31/20 please make time to stop by our office to pay your parking ticket. Tickets issued prior to 10/31/20 will not be available to pay online. Tickets issued starting November 2020 can be appealed or paid using the link below:
PARKING OFFICE DOES NOT ACCEPT CREDIT/DEBIT CARDS OR CASH TO PAY FOR PARKING PERMITS OR PARKING TICKETS, YOU MUST USE THE MILLERSVILLE WEB PORTAL IF YOU WANT TO USE A CREDIT/DEBIT CARD.
YOU CAN PAY YOUR TICKET(S) AT THE OFFICE WINDOW WITH A CHECK OR MONEY ORDER OR YOUR MARAUDER CARD (STUDENT ID). MAKE CHECKS OR MONEY ORDER PAYABLE TO MILLERSVILLE UNIVERSITY.
UPDATE ON PARKING REGISTRATION 1/1/2021:
Parking office hours for first week of classes this spring semester 2021 (1/19/21 - 1/22/21) will be 8am - 12pm Tuesday through Friday.

Students residing in a residence hall:
Resident hall students will be assigned a blue lined parking space near your resident hall. We will make every effort to place you as close to your resident hall as possible.
Once you applied and paid for your parking permit, we will have your permit available for pick up at our parking office in the Lebanon house. Stop by the parking office during the first week of classes to pick up your permit. Office hours are limited, we are open 8am to 12pm during the first week.
Your assigned parking space IS YOUR PARKING SPACE. You must park in this space when you are at your residence hall. For spring 2021 semester only, you are permitted to drive to your classes on campus, parking in WHITE LINE SPACES when on campus. This is just for this spring 2021 semester. Starting next academic year (2021/2022) you will only be permitted to park in your assigned parking space at your residence hall.
Parking for commuting students does not require a parking permit to park for this academic year 2020-2021. Please park in WHITE LINE SPACES while on campus. Please avoid parking in reserved or any yellow lined parking spaces.
Reighard Hall and Shenks Hall students:
Parking is provided to you, please stop by the Reighard or Shenks hall office to inquire about a parking pass to park in the parking lot directly outside each of these buildings. If you want to purchase a Millersville campus permit you can. Your status will show you as a commuter. You are permitted to purchase a commuter permit to park in white lined spaces. Blue parking permits are not sold to Reighard/Shenks hall students.
Open parking on Millersville Campus – no permit required:
You are permitted to park on Millersville Campus without displaying a parking permit after 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Parking permits are only required to be displayed during weekdays (Monday through Friday) from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Non-student guests may obtain a guest parking permit during the week day hours at the parking office in Lebanon House at 237 N. George St. Millersville, PA. During these times you must have a valid MU parking permit to park on campus. Weekend hours are also open on our campus. Weekend hours are from 4:00 p.m. Friday and ends at 7:00 a.m. the following Monday.
If your student status changes from a commuter student to a resident (dorm) student (or vice versa), you must make sure the registration office has your correct information/status. If they do not have this correct information you may not see the correct permits available to purchase.
Have a group of visitors or an event and need temporary parking passes (50 or less)? Use the below link to request temporary permits from the parking office. We'll process your request in advance of your visitors coming to campus. (please allow 2-3 days to process your request):
