How to Apply to Millersville University's Tell School of Music
All prospective music majors must apply to Millersville University before signing up for an audition with the Tell School of Music.
You can submit your university application through:

Important:
You must complete and submit your university application before scheduling your audition.
Once you apply, you will:

Receive login credentials for your MU account

Create your MU password
-
Gain access to the audition sign-up system
You do not need to be formally accepted to the University before auditioning. However, your application must be submitted first in order to register for an audition.

Schedule Your Audition
The Tell School of Music offers two audition formats:
Option 1: Fully In-Person Audition Eligible Majors:
- B.A. in Music – Performance
- B.S. in Music Industry
- B.S.E. in Music Education
Option 2: Fully Virtual Audition Eligible Major:
- B.A. in Music – General
- Music Minor

Prepare Your Audition Material
In-Person Audition Requirements (For Performance, Music Industry, and Music Education majors) Prepare the following:
Virtual Audition Requirements (For B.A. General Music majors) Submit video recordings of:
- Music Performance
- “Happy Birthday” Performance
- Personal Introduction Video
Submit your audition videos via email to Music.Admit@millersville.edu

Receive Your Audition Results
- Results will be emailed within two weeks of your audition.

Apply for Financial Aid
- Complete the FAFSA to receive your financial aid package.

Pay Your Deposit
- Log in to your MySpyGlass portal to pay your deposit and confirm your spot at the Tell School of Music.
