Your academic achievement matters. Eligible students may receive a Millersville University merit scholarship based on their recalculated high school GPA.

Fall 2027 & Fall 2028 Scholarship Awards

$4,000 per year
Recalculated GPA 3.75–3.99
$2,500 per year
Recalculated GPA 3.50–3.74
$1,500 per year
Recalculated GPA 3.00–3.49
$500 per year
No separate merit scholarship application is required.

Eligible students are automatically considered for a merit scholarship as part of the admission process. Merit scholarships are subject to Terms and Conditions.

    Millersville University recalculates high school GPA using a weighted 4.0 scale for academic review and merit scholarship consideration. Because high schools use a variety of grading scales and methods, this recalculation creates a common measure for determining scholarship eligibility. Your recalculated GPA may be different from the GPA reported on your transcript.

    Merit scholarships are only one part of the financial aid process. Students are encouraged to complete the FAFSA as early as possible so they can be considered for other available grants, scholarships, loans and financial aid programs.
