Welcome to our new home of business: Lombardo Hall

Architectural Rendering of Brooks Gym

The Lombardo College of Business is getting a new home!  Brooks Gym, built in 1938, has been a mainstay of our university for thousands of Marauders, serving as the main athletics venue.  It reached the end of its original lifespan in 2017, but now we are reimagining this historic space and preparing it for generations of new Millersville students.

Lombardo Hall will be a collaborative, inclusive campus space that brings together business, entrepreneurship and innovation. We will host alumni, professional and community events and act as a hub to engage faculty, students, local companies, startups, nonprofits and government agencies. The facility will center both traditional business programs and interdisciplinary offerings involving data analytics, and offer flexible workspaces designed to foster creative transformation.

This renovation meshes with the new University Strategic Plan, Traditions and Transformation.  It will retain many of the traditional and historical elements that our graduates remember, such as the basketball gym floor and beautiful arched exterior windows, while incorporating smart and sustainable technologies throughout our classrooms and building spaces.
