The School Selection section lets students list up to 20 colleges, universities, or career schools to receive their FAFSA information.

What the FAFSA asks: 

  • “Which colleges do you want to receive your FAFSA information?”

How to answer:

  • Search by school name, city, or state, or use the school’s Federal School Code.
  • You can list up to 20 schools on the online FAFSA (up from 10 in previous years).
  • If you’re applying to more than 20, submit your FAFSA with the first 20 schools, then wait for it to process and update your list with any additional schools afterward.

Things to know:

  • You don’t need to be admitted to a school to list it.
  • Each listed school will use your FAFSA data to determine your financial aid eligibility.
  • Schools can’t see the other schools on your list, so the order doesn’t affect admissions or aid.
  • Include at least one school in your state if you might qualify for state aid.

Pro Tip:

To ensure Millersville University receives your FAFSA information, include our federal school code: 003325.

How to Add Millersville to Your FAFSA

  1. Log in to your FAFSA at studentaid.gov.
  2. Navigate to the School Selection section.
  3. Enter Millersville's school code: 003325.
  4. Select Millersville University from the search results and add it to your list of schools.
  5. Save your changes and submit your FAFSA.

If you've already submitted your FAFSA and need to add Millersville, you can log back in and make a correction to include our school code.

For Pennsylvania residents, remember that the PA State Grant is awarded to the first school listed on your FAFSA. If Millersville isn't listed first, you can update your school choice through your PHEAA account to ensure we receive your state grant information.
