Are you withdrawing or taking a Leave of Absence?

Learn how your financial aid may be impacted

Students are given 100% of their financial aid at the start of the semester assuming that they will complete it. If the student officially or unofficially withdraws or takes a leave of absence from the university before 60% of the semester has been completed, an adjustment must be made to their financial aid based on the percentage of time the student was enrolled.

Federal Aid

A Return of Title IV Calculation (R2T4) is completed based on your last date of attendance. This calculation determines how much federal financial aid, such as grants and/or loans needs to be returned to the Department of Education.

State Aid

State aid is returned based on your last date of attendance and in accordance with Millersville University's refund policy for tuition and fees. The policy applies only to students who are completely withdrawing or taking a leave of absence.
