Net Price Calculator

At Millersville University we believe in empowering our prospective students to make informed decisions about their education. Our Net Price Calculator (NPC) is a valuable tool designed to provide transparency and clarity regarding the cost of attending our institution. By entering some basic financial information, students can receive an estimate of their net price after factoring in grants, scholarships, and other forms of financial aid.

accuracy disclaimer

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) has undergone significant revisions for the 2024-2025 academic year, particularly in the way it calculates financial aid eligibility. As a result of these changes, the estimates provided by the Net Price Calculator may not accurately reflect what you can anticipate for the 2024-2025 academic year. We will regularly update the Net Price Calculator as new data becomes accessible to ensure more accurate estimations.

  • The 2024-2025 FAFSA is available now! Complete yours as soon as possible to receive more accurate information regarding your aid eligibility. Once the Department of Education releases FAFSA data to schools, we will be able to begin working on your official financial aid offer.

BEFORE YOU START

The Net Price Calculator is a tool that can be used to assist future Marauders with early financial planning for college. It will provide an estimate of your cost to attend Millersville, as well as the federal, state, and institutional aid you may qualify for. While this tool offers valuable insight into potential costs and allows you to explore different scenarios to better understand your financial options, it is important to remember:

  • This is not an application for financial aid.
  • To be considered for federal and state aid resources, students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Some scholarship and private aid sources may also require a FAFSA to be considered.
  • Results provided by the Net Price Calculator are estimates and not guarantees of funding.
  • Factors such as results from the FAFSA, changes in financial circumstances, or availability of funds may impact actual financial aid awards.

what you need

You will be asked to provide personal information about your family and finances. Information is needed for the student and their potential required contributors (parents or spouse).

  • Student GPA
  • Student Aid Index (SAI) from the FAFSA if available
  • Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) on 1040 tax forms from two years ago
  • Current asset information

Having this information on hand when filling out the NPC will help you receive a more accurate estimate as this is the information required on the FAFSA. Please be aware we do not save this information; it is only used within the calculator.
