Welcome Back Students!
Welcome to all new and returning students. We hope you have had a great summer and are ready to start the semester strong. Please feel free to explore our website or contact us if you need assistance with registration, scheduling or any other services our office provides.
Please review the Fall 2026 Academic Calendar for important upcoming dates like the last day to drop or add classes for the term, deadlines to submit forms like graduation applications, academic program change requests or withdraw forms and much more.
Plan ahead
Use "Plan Ahead" in MAX/Self-Service Banner to build your Spring 2027 schedule once it's posted. Step-by-step instructions are on page 14 of the registration guide.
Advisement for Spring 2027 begins October 12
Current undergrads registering for Spring 2027 must meet with their academic advisor to remove their advisement hold before November registration. Schedule your advising appointment on or after Oct 12. Spring course listings open Oct 2.
Withdrawing from a class
The last day to withdraw from a Fall 2026 class is Oct 30 via an online withdrawal card by the end of the day. Classes outside the main term (8/24–12/12) have different deadlines. Check the Drop/Add and Withdraw site for details.
Winter Session Classes
A complete listing of winter session courses will be available to view online on September 21. You can register for Winter classes via MAX starting September 30 at Noon – just log in through the MU Logins.

Transfer Credits
