Request to Communicate with Prospective Students

What is the purpose of this form? By completing this form, you are submitting content for an email message that will be sent from the undergraduate admissions office on your behalf.

What types of messages should I consider sending? Students respond well to "welcome to the community" messages, introduction of new programs, or opportunities to attend events.

Why should admissions send a message on my behalf? Admissions uses real-time recipient lists when sending emails on your behalf. To avoid overlap and opt-outs, the delivery date is also coordinated with the existing communication flow.

For a list of students to contact by phone, don't hesitate to get in touch with Jes Transue.

Please note: This request form is to communicate with undergraduate students only and does not include graduate, international or online students.

  • Best practice guidelines:

    Personalize ALL communications. Always use their name, never "Dear Prospective Student";

    Write as though you are speaking to them, ex. "You will achieve"..., never "Millersville University students achieve"...;

    Students prefer visuals and infographics;

    Short messages and bullet points have a better response rate.

  • Students like visuals. Provide photos when available, otherwise, we will select one for you.
