Four-Year Pathways

Use these plans to guide you through your four years in AEST!

The information below is to help you plan out your four year degree in Applied Engineering, Safety & Technology. For each of the majors offered by the department you can view a suggested sequence of courses that will help you to move through your college experience and graduate on time.

Please note the two sections of this page. To top section labeled "Gateway General Education Model" shows the pathways for students admitted to MU in the Fall of 2026 and after. The bottom section of the page labeled "Legacy Model General Education Plan" is for students admitted prior to Fall of 2026. You'll work closely with your advisor over the four years you're at to make sure you stay on track to finish on time and have a successful experience.
